ITENERARY. 

Day 1: Kampala – Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Game Drive

You will be picked up from Kampala early in the morning and head southwest toward Lake Mburo National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of the Ugandan countryside and stop at the equator for photos. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive to spot zebras, impalas, buffaloes, elands, and a variety of birds. In the evening, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Boat Safari

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through beautiful landscapes and traditional villages. Arrive in time for a hot lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, known for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and birds such as fish eagles and kingfishers. Optionally, take an evening game drive.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Return to Kampala

The trek through Kibale Forest requires a moderate level of fitness. You’ll be walking along forest trails that can be uneven and sometimes muddy, but there are routes suited to various fitness levels. A good pair of walking shoes and a bit of stamina will go a long way.

How long do the walks last during the Kibale trekking experience?

The chimpanzee habituation experience runs from early morning around 5:30 a.m. until approximately 7:00 p.m. Night walks through the forest usually last between 1.5 to 2 hours.
